Have you been sitting back wondering what all the fuss is about Pinterest?

Well as you know from previous posts I am just a tad addicted LOL.

For good reason as you can see, but now it’s time to share some secret ninja marketing tips with you about using Pinterest to boost your back links, SEO, social shares and awareness about what you do and what your business has to offer:

Secret Ninja Pinterest Tip #1 – the Business Feature Board

These can be set up for lots of reasons and can include images of services or products and you can have more than one of them for different reasons. Here’s one I use for my business called

Client Gallery Showcase

This is what it looks like on the custom app on my Facebook Business Page

Now this one showcases some of the work I have done for clients the screen capture images make it easy to showcase this kind of service. Think about how you could use this for your business do you have a product or service that could with a little imagination be turned into a feature board for your business and then shared on your Facebook Page and of course all over social media?

I have a few Facebook Business Pages featuring different areas of interest that I am building into other arms to what I do now, one of them is my Annie Infinite – Possiblilitarian, Speaker and Author page and on this page I have created a board called

Powerful You

and used a board of the same name on the Facebook Page and on Pinterest which will fill with quotes meant to inspire, motivate and remind us all of just how powerful we are when we remember.

This is what the board looks like on Facebook:

Powerful You Tab on Facebook

As you can see these are not products or services however this is another way to use my Pinterest Boards to add more interest to my Facebook Page.

It also gives my Likers a reason to connect with me in more places, like Pinterest and more reasons to come back to my page to see what quotes I have added.

I have other plans for this Tab which will include a contest to find great quotes, and plan to hold these regularly using the Pinterest Board – think major engagement :)

What do you think of this idea?

How do you plan to use it now that I have your imagination firing? :)

I’ve been ‘playing’ with pinterest for a while, but so much more to learn of course! I love the way you have added it to a custom tab on Facebook Annie. Will you be sharing that at your Pinterest workshop? (Trying to wangle it to get there).
