Share the post "How to use the New Facebook Promoted Posts"
Oddly enough (or not) there has been a lot of confusion and even misinformation about the new Promoted Posts on Facebook
- NO! Facebook are not making you pay for your posts to show up on the wall – all your posts and Edgerank will work as it always has
- NO! People cannot spam you with promotional posts – they can only pay to use them like ads, no different than the already established Sponsored Posts.
- NO! Facebook are not giving people access to your private information or images – not any more than they already do anyway.
So now that that has been cleared up here’s an infographic on how to use the new Promoted Posts, which for me are Sponsored Posts made more accessible:

Oh and just in case you wanted to know where to find those scheduled posts to see what you have scheduled, delete or be sure of your timing, this is where you see them after you have clicked ‘Schedule’. In your Activity Log which can be found under ‘Manage’ in your Admin Panel at the top of your Page:
