With so much going on over at Facebook at the moment it’s really hard to focus on any one thing, there are new tools and options popping up almost daily, this morning I saw two new things on my Page and one on my profile Home page:
This is what I found on my Home Wall, now your Page List also contains your Facebook Ads… money making for all those new Facebook Shareholders is definitely on the agenda!
Also the new Promoted Posts feature appeared on my Facebook Pages this week, have you see yours yet?
Promoted Posts work a little like Sponsored Posts in Advertising, and do cost you just like Ads, they are however accessed directly from your Page Timeline.
Again, another way advertising is being highlighted on the all new post IPO Facebook.
There are lots of other small changes including Favourite Friends feature which was rolled out about a week ago and of course we cannot forget the new Facebook Offers which I will write a more informative post about in the near future, I would like to include a little more data about effectiveness before I post about it.
Now we can Schedule Posts in Facebook and this is easily accessed at the bottom of our comment box, just click on the clock (you may not have this feature yet as it is still being rolled out):
and then we have the new Facebook Timeline Movie Maker which will gather some of your images into a scrolling ‘movie’ you can feature on your Timeline see the infographic below for more information on how to use this new feature.
